Kwernerdesign.com Color Inspiration #43 SFYTT_022809 Sketch Challenge

Today I played two challenges: Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration and SFYTT's. The color challenge was definitely difficult because I normally pick outrageously loud and bright colors for my cards. But, since I love coloring images, this turned out to be a lot of fun and good therapy, too :-D The sketch is a great one this week; it really was easy to use and worked out fine for the color inspiration challenge (yay, two challenges in one card!) The main image was sponged lightly with Ranger Distress Inks and cut with a Labels Two die from Spellbinders. The pumpkin pie cs was inked with SU! Polka Dots bg stamp (my chicken wire bg stamp hasn't arrived yet :-D The old olive cs was embossed with CB's Swiss Dots. This card was definitely out of my comfort zone, but still fun to make. Thanks for "peeping" today!
