Just finished reading Nichole Heady's blog and wanted to participate in a challenge she's hosting over at Papertrey Ink. Normally I don't have the time to make a card to meet deadlines, but remembered the poppy card, which was finished on Saturday...yeah! I wanted to make the main image stand out, so the smallest poppy was stamped twice, one cut and mounted with pop dots. The large image was cut out beyond the white paper border. This thank you card was made for a friend who is one of my biggest supporters in my card making business. Although designing cards has been more of a hobby (I mean therapy *wink* ), she has gone beyond the call of duty to make me feel creative and artistic :-D The images are from Flourishes bought at a LSS. The bg stamp is from SU! The paper, yellow and white are from PaperTrey Ink. The Pure Poppy ribbon is also from PTI. DP is from a 7 Gypsies stash. CB die for the black swirls behind the main image. The trio tag die is from Spellbinders. The images were colored with Prismacolor and Copic markers. The sentiment was computer generated.
Hope this makes you think of a friend 'til the end; we can never thank our best friends enough for being there during the tough times as well as in the good ones.
