Swirly Cuttlebug Snowman

It's a cool Saturday morning, which is perfect for creating cards in the "studio", which of course is the guest bedroom :-D The Christmas card shown today was made for two very special granddaughters living in Colorado. The colors are not your traditional Christmas colors, but since the holiday season is bright and festive, they'll work perfectly. The snowflakes are covered with glitter! They were punched, pressed into a glue pad, heat tool used to activate the glue, and glitter poured over; it's such an easy process to use if you enjoy using glitter on your projects. You're not limited to using only one color, such as the case when you buy individual stickers. If you haven't already invested in some Spellbinder dies, you're wasting too much time using other methods of measure cutting. I'm not good at measuring (this is where the smart DH comes in handy), so he's getting some time off, too :-) Back to business: The snowman die is from Cuttlebug; it comes with an embossing folder perfect for making individual ornaments (so many posssibilities.) The CB Divine Swirl was used for the body circles, which gives it some texture. I also painted some Shimmerz on the entire snowman, and green scallops to give it some shine (little girls love shine and bling, don't they?) Punches were used for the circles on the side and the Spellbinder long rectangle, standard and scallop, were used for the snowman frame.
